Inspection Stabilisation

The sprint includes:

• A rapid diagnostic review of the service (The Inspection Readiness Review)
  Identifying the areas that currently create the most pressure, risk or uncertainty.

• Focused review of governance and oversight systems
  Looking at how leadership monitors quality, risk and day-to-day practice.

• Assessment of incidents, safeguarding and learning processes
  Ensuring events are recorded clearly and that learning is visible and followed through.

• Review of documentation and evidence structure
  Making sure important information can be easily located, explained and evidenced.

• Identification of immediate stabilisation priorities
  Highlighting the areas that require prompt action to strengthen the service.

• Creation of a clear action plan
  Setting out practical steps the service can take to stabilise systems and demonstrate stronger oversight.

• Support with implementing key improvements where required
